My golly I've been to a lot of showers and weddings lately. Well last evening was no exception. I needed a card, QUICK! So here's what I made. A cute paper with a complimentary card stock. A couple of punches. A sentiment, which was computer generated. A couple of pearls. A lot of love. Hope the bride-to-be enjoys it cause I sure did like making it for her.

Metal and Whateva!
This weeks challenge at Kaboodledoodles.blogspot.com is to use metal in your card. So here's what I call my desk-topper. A little 2.5" by 3" easel card to set on your desk or vanity. Add a sentiment, a couple of shiny metal brads, and there ya' go. I send them to friends who might need a little encouragement. We've all had days when it's hard to smile. This card is kind of a tongue in cheek reminder that we've all been there. Simple and to the point...SMILE!
CHAPTER 25: White Rabbit, White Gloves, White Wonderland...
A card challenge at aliceinwonderlandchallenge.blogspot.com
To make a white card. The only color is in the main image.
I watercolored the butterfly added a little Sticklers. Some pearls and ribbon and punched the border. I have a wedding to go to soon...this may just be the card! Check out Alice soon, they have some great designers

Special Thank You
These were made for some very special people to say thank you for the help they offered as I moved my daughter into a new home. Again the same digi design from meljensdesigns. A small 3" by 3" card. Colored with Copic markers, I love their gigantic color selection, a little sparkle, ribbon a computer generated sentiment and persto change-o a quick thank you!
So Very Difficult
Sympathy cards are the hardest cards to find. They either seem too sappy or just don't say the right thing. I made this for a friend who just lost her mother and thanks to meljensdesigns I found the perfect image. I colored it with Copic markers, layered a polka dot paper behind it, rimmed it with blue ink, added a little Sticklers, a jewel, a ribbon and sent it off hoping to let them know I care.

Welcome Baby
Flying By...
This card is to meet the criteria for the Monday Challenge #36 @ Kaboodle Doodle. The image is one I used from meljensdesigns.com. I altered the digital image and then printed it on watercolor paper. I painted it using the color palette of the challenge. Added a little glitter and a sparkle or two. Don't you think it's just too cute?

Congratulations!
Congratulations Dad and Jan! After 40 years you two should kick up your heels and celebrate...you are the perfect pear! This card was made for my dad and step-mother. They're great. I used the "Pears" image from Squigglefly, Angie Davis is the artist, to make an easel card. Colored it with Copic markers, added a little ribbon and a heart charm.
I hope it reminds them how special they are.

Hot Diggity Dog
One of the gals at work just brought home a new little puppy. Hope Ruthi enjoys this card. The image is a stamp from Stampcraft. It's colored with Copic markers. I took some purple ink and rimmed the image and a pop dot brings it off the card and makes it three dimensional. It's a tent card and I added the ribbon and a couple of rhinestones. The sentiment is computer generated. Ruthi will be a great mommy!
A New Kitty...How Great!
A special new family member needs a great howdy do! A friend just recently got a new kitten. Made this card with a Clip Art and Scrap "Cat Hug" digi, colored it with Copic markers, used a pop dot to give it some dimension, added some sparkle and a little ribbon. The sentiment was computer generated.

You're the Best
Hoppy Spring
This card was made especially for the Squigglefly Challenge #39. The challenge was to make a card with a scene. The image is "funkybunny" from http://www.squigglefly.com/. He so makes me want to go hunting for eggs in the grass. Don't you think? Have fun and Hoppy Spring!
What's Up?
This was such a fun card to make. My Auntie is in the hospital and I thought this might cheer her up. The image is from http://www.squigglefly.com/ and is called CakeLady. Isn't she cute? I think I will probably find a lot of uses for her, she's so fun! Hope you enjoy her too.

First of Many
This is the first card I've made to share. Hope you like it.
I used an image from Squigglefly called Sherman. This card was made in response to their Sunday challenge.
I used a plain white card stock and inked the edges in Seashell ink. Then penciled the image and added a ultra fine glitter. The images in black and the type were done on the computer. I had fun with it hope you enjoy it as well.
