Red, White, and Blue

This card was made for a challenge at Squigglefly Red, White, and Blue! I used their image called "Liberty Bell". Colored it with Copic markers, dusted a little clear glitter on the star, a little gold glitter on the bell clapper, cut it out and mounted it on dots to give it some dimension. Added a small gold star and a computer generated sentiment "Celebrate". I think it's awfully cute. Happy 4Th everyone!

What Holiday Is It?

I made this cute little card for a challenge at Squigglefly. The idea was to create a card using one of their holiday images but use it for something other than it was intended. I picked their image called Happy Fourth. Used Copic markers to color a 4th of July theme but chose to add a computer sentiment to celebrate a birthday! I used pop dots to give dimension to the sentiment on the bottom. Added a little glitter to the star on the hat and candle flames, a couple of rhinestones and there you have it. I think it's rather cute...don't you?

With Sympathy

Another sympathy card in very neutral colors.
I used Distress Ink to shade the edges and embossed the tree with white. I added pop dots to the tree to make it stand off the card base. I think the cut corners add to the elegance but hold to the simplicity of the card.

Happy Birthday Friend

A good friends birthday prompted me to make this card. She has brought so many years of happiness to my life. I hope she knows how special she is to me.

Special Thoughts

Do you ever find it difficult to make sympathy cards? I sure do. You don't want anything to foo-fee or to bright. So I decided to use cream and white. I think it turned out kind of nice. Don't you?

Seeing Stars

Oh Happy Day! Just a quick card to pick me up and send a note to a friend. Hope you enjoy it.
