Winter Wonderland
This week's challenge at Squigglefly was to create a card for the cold winter weather.
I used Catching Snow by artist Cheryl Alger. I just love the big red balls that make the image pop! Hope you're on your way to holiday fun! Join the challenge this week and see what you can come up with!

Happy Birthday!
The challenge put to the design team this week was to create a card for a birthday. Easy enough.
So here is "Wanda".
A cute little piggy from Suzanne Urban at Squigglefly and she says it all. Drink in hand and absolutely FAAAABULOUS! I colored her using Copic markers and then added a little bling and some hemp thread in purple. I love turquoise so of course she had to have a couple of faaaabulous turquoise papers and some jewels. Stop by Squigglefly and join the challenge (take a look at their new images too!).

Can you imagine?
So the challenge at Squigglefly this week was to create a card but not to use any patterned paper. I started out thinking "Ah that's easy". Not so my friend!
I'm so used to starting out my projects because the cute paper ignites my imagination.
Well this week I had to create on my own.
Here's my card.
I used the image from Squigglefly called "Funky Bunny". I know it works at Easter but how about for some bunny's birthday?
I flocked the bunny's tail, added jewels on the bow, dotted the bow with Stickles, found some old buttons in the button can, and made a bow from antique silk ribbon.
Pretty cute...don't cha' think?
Stop by and see the new artists at Squigglefly. Meytal, Rachel Goble, and Gemma Mortlock.
Be sure to check out the wonderful new images!

Happy Halloween
I don't celebrate Halloween, although I do enjoy seeing the little ones in costume. But I did want to make something for my office door since everyone at work enjoys dressing up in costumes. So this hanger was my project. I used the image from Squigglefly called Halloween Bunch - Witch. Colored it with Copic markers, added a little glitter and some Glossy Accents. I chalked the outside edge of the image and layered a couple of papers. I think she's just cute. Hope you get your candy bucket full!

Tickle My Fancy
The challenge at Squigglefly this week is to Tickle My Fancy! In other words: Tickle my Fancy! Make me laugh! Giggle! Smile at least! That's right - create a card that's FUNNY. Use a funny image or a funny sentiment with a serious image. Use your imagination - but most importantly, make me laugh!
The card I chose to make uses the image called Soaking Kitty. Isn't he/ she funny? You could use this image for so many cards...just let you imagination go wild. I made an easel card and added some Stickles to the water to make it shine. I used Glossy Accents on the eyes to give them some depth and added some sparkle jewels across the scallops for shine. Hope you enjoy and...
Take a look at the wonderful cards created by a great design team (if I do say so myself!) and have fun.

Featherbrain
What fun the challenge was at Squigglefly this week.
This week visit their blog and make a card using the sketch provided. I used the image called Featherbrain by Brian Lock.
I love the look on the birds face.
Kind of looks like my husband when he's caught with his hand in the cookie jar!
Have fun!

Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes!
A friend is having a baby and I just think this image from Pink Petticoat is so adorable.
It's a girl and she's going to be beautiful and spoiled!
So this card is very appropriate, don't you think!

Squigglefly Challenge
The challenge at Squigglefly this week is to use any shade of red and/or orange as the main colors on your project. Think tropical sunsets, fruit, flames- anything in this color family.
I thought cupcakes! Right...it's all about the food!
The paper I chose to use has such a great color palette. The orange stands out so well and I found a coordinating ribbon. I used a computer generated sentiment and well how cute! Hope you enjoy.
Cute Card Thursday challenge
Cute Card Thursday challenge this week is At the Office! This week the card should feature something you can find in an office. Paperclips, split pins, staples, string...if you can use it in the office, add it to your card. I used the image Quirky Qwerty from Pink Petticoat. I'm not sure anyone uses a real typewriter anymore but you can certainly still find tags and paperclips in the office. I chalked the edges of the image colored it with Copic markers and added Stickles to the note just to give it a little sparkle. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Have fun and be sure to check out Cute Card Thursday and take a look at the cute entries.
KABOODLE DOODLES challenge
KABOODLE DOODLES challenge this week is to create a project using Ric Rac, Fabric or Lace. So here is a cute image from PINK PETTICOAT. The bride is so darn cute. I chalked the edges of the image and the card. Added some Stickles to the flowers and then the lace ribbon and fabric flower. Hop over to Kaboodle and take a look at the amazing cards!

Blue and Green
The challenge this week at Squigglefly was to color the town BLUE and/or GREEN!
Make a card where the main color of your card is Blue, Green, Aqua, Turquoise, Navy, Jade, Emerald, etc.
What fun this was. A million and one ideas came to me but I settled on the image called Make a Wish Cake by artist Robin Willis.
I removed the lettering and then just had fun with a very limited color palette.
I think it turned out sooooo cute.

Waterworks Challenge
I'm a couple of days late posting this card but have been real busy.
The challenge this week at Squigglefly is WATERWORKS! It's summertime, and it's hot. Water. Need water!
Some ideas: Watercolors, water splashes, water themed images...you get the idea!
Well here's my take on a relaxing day at the beach...looking for shells. I chose to use the image titled "On the Beach" from artist Cheryl Alger.
Enjoy!

Button, button, who's got the button?
Remember that old game when you were little?
Well the challenge this week at Squigglefly was to create a card using buttons somewhere on the card. It always seems men are difficult to make cards for but I thought this little 'Dump Truck' image at Squigglefly would be great to cheer an ailing man or little boy. I paper pieced the cab and body of the truck and added pop dots to give it some dimension. Then added at little glitter to the load it was carrying.
Easy and oh so cute.

Craft Paper...WHAT!
Yep here's another card that I made to meet the challenge at Squigglefly. Take a look at their challenge blog and I'm sure you'll be inspired. I chose to make it simple. The paper really helps the bird pop and I love the blue and brown together.
Have a great week and don't forget your 'Daily Twitter'!
Kraftastic!
Did you ever wonder what to do with that blah brown craft paper you get lots of? Well at Squigglefly the challenge this week was to use that brown paper to create a one of a kind card. And boy did the design team step up to the challenge. Take a look at the challenge blog and see what ideas you get! I used the image titled 'Whimsy Town'. I made an easel card and colored it using Copic markers and boy was it a challenge. I'm getting ready for eye surgery in two weeks and I can hardly see the big stuff let alone the details. Anyway, then I added a couple of details (check out the cute little birds and the cat in the image)and a coordinating ribbon. Now wouldn't you like to get a cute card from a neighbor and maybe a loaf of home baked bread? OK so I didn't bake the bread yet!
Happy crafting!

Sentimental Sundays!
This card was created with "Him" in mind. The challenge over at Sentimental Sundays is to make a card for a man. There's only one in my life and he's been around for 36 years. He's my friend and only love and he's a truck driver. So this card seemed to fit the bill. The image is from Squigglefly and is entitled 'Dump Truck'...duh!
Check out the challenge at Sentimental Sundays.
Thanks for looking!
Stamptacular!
Created for the weekly challenge at Stamptacular Sunday for their “ANIMAL ANTICS!” I used an image called Cat Hug. Then I colored it with Copic markers and added a computer generated sentiment. We can all use a hug every now and then!

Heavy Metal Challenge
This card was created for the "Heavy Metal Challenge" at Squigglefly. The idea was to use metal of some kind on your card. I chose the image and sentiment called "Fintastic Friend" from Squigglefly. Colored it with Copic markers and pastel pencils. Added 'Glossy Accents' to the fish and used blue metal brads for the air bubbles in the fish bowl.
And now that it's done I know just the friend to send it to!

Red, White, and Blue
This card was made for a challenge at Squigglefly Red, White, and Blue! I used their image called "Liberty Bell". Colored it with Copic markers, dusted a little clear glitter on the star, a little gold glitter on the bell clapper, cut it out and mounted it on dots to give it some dimension. Added a small gold star and a computer generated sentiment "Celebrate". I think it's awfully cute. Happy 4Th everyone!

What Holiday Is It?
I made this cute little card for a challenge at Squigglefly. The idea was to create a card using one of their holiday images but use it for something other than it was intended. I picked their image called Happy Fourth. Used Copic markers to color a 4th of July theme but chose to add a computer sentiment to celebrate a birthday! I used pop dots to give dimension to the sentiment on the bottom. Added a little glitter to the star on the hat and candle flames, a couple of rhinestones and there you have it. I think it's rather cute...don't you?
